William and Elvira's unorthodox approach to selling their home in a down market

“Randy…if we don’t sell our house soon, we won’t be able to close on our retirement home!” William and Elvira bought their dream home months ago and called me to sell their home in Brampton.
Anticipating a bottoming out market, interested buyers hesitated making offers on properties as the market had gone stagnant.
Problem was; if we didn’t sell their home soon, they couldn’t close on their retirement property!
Elvira's cry for help had me rattled as William had been anticipating selling for a higher price while prices were declining.
Without an offer made what could we do to sell their house quickly? We found an interested (reluctant) buyer and made them an offer from us. Seems strange but the “Reverse Offer” worked perfectly! We demonstrated our commitment to selling the house for market value while other listed houses sat quietly, unsold.
William and Elvira are happily retired and living life large!
