Do you want to save thousands of dollars and avoid last minute stress when selling your home? Get your home pre-inspected before selling. Here's why. No matter the age or condition there's always issues with a home. I'm not talking about normal wear and tear but something substantial a seller was either unaware of or ignored.
Here's the issue, buyers tend to over value repair costs. Then they want price concessions based on inflated values. For under $1,000 your home is inspected, issues can be addressed, or repair estimates confirmed and available for buyers to see. Now you have the upper hand because we simply say, "the value of those repairs went into determining the sale price". This weakens a buyers negotiatiing position.
